Every news channel and radio stations is talking abt Bush bringing back teh Immi bill. And I think he will
He will armtwist Congress to pass it like he got the Iraq funding bill passed (w/o plan for withdrawal).....We should have a plan to bring in our ammdts as soon as the bill hits floor again...

While in the process of filing for labor certification my company has found 2 suitable citizens who are eligible for the job.
Now what are my options going forward and how does this affect my chances of a successful PERM filing ??
I'm filing in EB3 category right now. Also I need to file for labor before oct since my H1 will expire its original 6 year length next Oct (Oct 2010).

If the child is under 2 years old, and is accompanied by LPR parent upon their first return to the U.S. of the parent who is applying to re-enter as LPR and the parent is admissible, then the child should be issued an I-181 upon his/her first entry as a lawful permanent resident.
I-181 (Memorandum of Creation of Record of Lawful Permanent Residence)
I will get official links for that. It is recommended that LPR parent has travel document that allows LPR to be outside US for upto 2 years and preserve green card status.

OP already mentioned the change was expected in the NOC list [On-Demand occupation list of Alberta]. Nobody told it would be closed after April 15. Did you see all the postings here before blaming others?
hey dude there's nothing in the url u posted once go to the website and click the the pressure list url.that is the actual Noc codes that are active.Today morning when i spoke to the immigraton officer in alberta he was the one who told me ok.

Yes forwarded the copy to the lawyer this morning.I have an appointment with lawyer Friday morning regarding this..So for lawyer office didn't received anything from uscis.
Here is my backround
1)Worked for Company A from 2003 to 2008.
2)Company A applied I-140 and approved April 2006. AOS 485 filed on July 2007. Got EAD but never used it
3)September 2008 I have Joined employer “B” by transferring H1B (Valid until Aug 21st 2010).
4)Employer A revoked 140 which triggered 485 denials in October 2008.
5)Applied MTR and it was approved in NOVEMBER 2008 and 485 re-opened.
This is the only major concern I have.Though I have approved MTR and 485 re-opened, but my online status of 485 still showing denied.
My AP approved last month.......my wife EAD,AP approved last month.I am the primary..strange
I know I have moderate control over this situation.Just having good faith & hope.This whole thing H1-B,DL,GC,EAD,AP & visa stamping ..etc what a pain for some people.Very sad.For uscis error(485 denial wrongly) I am not only lost money( closee to 5k) also lost "n" no of days of sleep back in 2008 and now :mad:

Thanks. I will go back and reshoot this and experiment a bit. The scene wasn't lit by harsh light - high cloud as I recall. I actually deepended the shadows intentionally in the PS CS2 RAW converter - the original wasn't as contrasty. What is interesting is that while the actual exposure of the blown area should be well within tolerances (If I were still shooting B&W film I would have guessed it at around zone 8) it is just the one colour that is blown - and yellow is not one of the 3 channels so it must have actualy been 2 colours. I will have to keep an eye on my histogram display because I don't have the $ for a 1DSMkII!
Photoshop can show you a histogram of an individual colour. Ok, so it's not as good as viewing it on the camera when you shoot, but it's better than not being able to see it at all.... Also, you can view histogram for a portion of the image in Photoshop by selecting a portion and viewing that.
You could also view in R/G/B separately in PS by selecting that channel only... That way, you'll see the yellow on it's own.

You should try for emergency appointment & should be able to get it based on approved 797.
By the way, my Canadian PR is maturing & I am asked to pay landing fee & do the medical by 1st Jan 2007. Can I pay the landing fee in time but delay the medical without compromising Canadian PR ? I want postpone my landing. Can you please share your advise ??

As part of the Washington State Chapter, I want to arrange a conference call for all Washington, Oregon and Idaho state members. I will send out details soon on the conf call.
The main agenda will be
1. How to increase awareness about IV and increase its member base/funding?
2. How to target the big employers in this region (e.g., Intel, Microsoft)?
3. How to meet all Congressmen and their Immigration staff?

If the provision to let people apply for I-485 without current PD passes, that takes away some pain related to waiting. Nobody can predict when EB3 will become current worldwide or country specific.

They have 100's of 1000's of cases....thrown in one dark room.
They have this Q on their computers, with cases approved Namecheck, background check, I-140, FP complete....
Now, when they are assigned with a case, they will try to find the file....Just imagine its not easy to find the case, but USCIS doesnt put any effort to sort them either.
So, he will leave that case there, go to next one...This is just my guess...

- My employer doesn't revoke my 140
- I'm already in the 8th year of my H
So, I can go find another employer since I have my EAD and my 485 is filed for more than 180 days. Now, if my 140 is approved, no problem. If, however, my 140 gets an RFE or if my 140 is not too strong, I can find out alternatives including (but not limited to :-)) finding a decent job in my home country while I still have a job here in the US.
Is it logical or should I go take a nap? :p

Did you notice any LUD's on your case in September?..i got an RFE for my Spouse in August and responded on September 2nd after that there is Soft LUD almost every day but no status change..on my case no LUD's or what so ever last LUD was on 08/19 the day when i did my FP that's it..Guys i am frustated and feeling some how that i will miss this bus... called USCIS IO told me that both the cases are with officer not sure how reliable inof that is..Opened SR on September 3rd..guys please suggest me what else i can do:confused::confused::mad::mad::mad:
