say your case was received by USCIS and they have not issued FP notices.
what if they issued FP notices but not issued EAD and/or AP.
would they still issue an EAD and AP even if your dates are not current(obviously the case was received by them and they issued you a case number)
any ideas?
In that case people with PD 2002 2003 whould have not got EAD's or renewals.. it won't affect the people who filed.
Once you file 485 ,PD will stop only getting you GC.

All checks cashed June 8th. It was sent to Nebrasks. I hardy just could read the SRC letters in back of my check. Online image in not good. I guess it has gone to Texas sercice center.

TIP: Print them you should be able to read.:) My checks cleared on the same day got the receipts yesterday. So you should be getting them today or tomorrow. I am not sure if attorney can chose whether to send it to you or not.

So both you and the other guy "qasleuth" have decided not to present any real reasons or arguments to support why I should not advise people to be ethically and morally responsible, but instead go after me to prove that I am somehow also morally corrupt like you guys are.

Well, my old carcass is getting too aged to handle that anymore. So now I ease off the sauce and go to the gym.
But I do also try to notice and enjoy the silliness of the every day human condition. (Still to this day, I'm not sure why I mow my lawn, for instance.) A sense of humour is very important. Recognition that there are others less fortunate. And stay connected with friends socially.
And also recognize that fact that a green card won't make me magically happier beyond the immediate jubilation. Yes it is good to regain the rights we lost coming to the US. To speeches I'll still smile, nod, even clap and think "what a bunch of nonsense!" for privacy is the true freedom that you still have. But I'll still work for a living. I'll still put on a dress shirt to impress clients I'll never see. I'll still try to spend more time creating than managing. Not simply because my h1b legally requires me to do so, but because managing is intellectually trivial. Or one could say that managing is the work of man, creation is the work of the gods. ; )

Wanted to let everyone know of my experience. I dont physically have my card, but there is an approval notice on the USCIS website.
Priority date October 20th 2005
I opened a service request on Monday August 16th. The person on the other end of the line was extremely polite and nice. I told him I had a speaking engagement in Canada (which is the truth) and that if my case was expedited, I would not have to apply for a visa. He given me a SR number and asked me to wait for 30 days which I was prepared to do. However my case status changed online on August 19th. I am unsure as to whether this was because of the service request or things would have taken this route anyway.

Talk about your scare of getting too many people with substandard MS degrees. Do you not realize that the companies in USA knows a different in good US school and Bad one - So in nutshell the people from bad school wont get job? Do you know that there is nature's rule - Fittest Survival... So in case you are fit enough and qualified enough to get a job then you will get one, it does not matter if you are from good or bad school....
Also, looking at your thoughts, it does not appear that you are MIT or Stanford grade material, so do us all a favor and keep your thoughts to yourself....

Are you aware of Avertising world rule that when someone does not like soemthing, they tend to tell at least 25 people about it, while when someone likes something, they might tell 1 person. In this case, this classic rule has applied beyond expectations because people who are calling are already racist who sit on their ass and expect all colored people to be their slaves and get things done for them. They want their mexican maid or indian computer programmer doing things for them but the moment they realize that these foreigners might get citizenship and be equal to them, they dont like that.... (and so do you)....So there you go....No wonder they pick up phone and dial....In any case, what better can they do?
We cannot reject numbersusa and other organizartion's ideas. As our people are suffering in retrogession some of their people and their families are impacted because of job loss in past. So we cannot tell that they do not have crediblity. They have some valid points also though some of them are absurd. But we need to understand them and try to elimimate their fears also.

guys can i say something instead of showing our true colors we all should join force and for one common reason that is getting our green cards done.I have been here for last 13 years and am still awaiting my green card as my eb2 application got denied as my employer showed loss in the year opf filling my petition and then i became lazy and didnt file in eb3 category but now finally i amd awaiting the pd so lets all get together and get greened.

A lot of people in EB2 and EB3 can qualify for auto adjustment of status now, so it will remove people from EB3 queue making it smaller.

The Intent & Implicatins could easilty be challenged....I need not have to write how intent could be challenged, as fa as implications are concerned, country cap has given grief to certain section, while they are still living in the country...

my 485 app was delivered to NSC on 2nd @ 8.26am..
my 140 was approved from TSC.... and no reciept or encashed checks yet!
But are we sure, all our applications will be transferred to TSC? I've heard that the new rule that the apps should be sent to TSC or NSC based on state u live in is gonna take effect only from this week....

I have received the news letter and it is pretty neat. But you know, many people are busy. So my suggestion was to send out another simple version with only the Advocacy day link with a request for contribution.

In my opinion, we need to have separate efforts for EB3 (now that EB3 I and EB3 ROW are in the same boat). If we have someone with leadership qualities and wants to use some social networking site for discussing EB3 issues and identifying approaches to solve the EB3 issues, there will be many EB3 folks willing to support the effort. Immivoice is just useless portal, it doesn't have open forums and the core folks here don't care for EB3. In fact, their lobbying efforts were behind USCIS changing the rule for spilling over the unused visa numbers to EB2 first. Just my 2 cents.
