On a side note, what do you guys suggest to use for trading for someone like me who does it occasionally and very low volume both in terms of quantity and $. Currently I use share builder... is there anything cheaper and better than this.
Try Zecco. I was also using ShareBuilder but some of their fees are ridiculous like charging % on total trade if no. of stocks traded in an order is more than 1000. On the other hand, Zecco charges flat $4.50 no matter how big the trade is.

CitiBank recently launched their Online Remit service. I used it for the first time last week and the exchange rate offered was best of all other services. Their fee is a flat $1 for any amount transferred. I did the same amount transfer at the same time with Citi as well as Remit2India and I got 16 Paise per $ more with Citi.
Keep in mind, every new business tries to offer best services in the beginning to attract customers and I suspect it will be same with Citi too. So their rates may be great now but could be whole different story in few months. They also disclose in the fine print that the exchange rate offered includes conversion commission.
If I were to order my preference on a permanent basis I would rank SBI, Citi, Remit2India, ICICI and then Western.

I asked IV core on what version of immigration bill they support because I and other people wanted to know since there are so many amendments to the current immigration bill and Now I log in to see , the thread is missing, why, my question was straight forward, again I am asking them on what form of immigration bill they support. I highly doubt In what they are doing looks like they are working for the benefit of them self. Guys please don’t be ignorant and its your right to ask the question don’t be a dumb crowd but ask questions.
I am too in the same GC queue with I140 and I485 filed and pending, so don’t count me as anti – immigrant but also want to see the betterment of others too who are in GC process and will be effected due to the introduction of the new bill.

I missed the last rally and I regret it. There was a moment in time when we were all really energized. The flower campaign was brilliant. But now we seem to have lost that fire - me included! I dont even remember my dates anymore. I know we have a serious problem of getting people together for anything. But starting small in our own cities and connecting to a national IV would probably work. I am here in Sterling Heights, MI (Detroit Metro Area) and I am willing to host people in my area It will be great if others in other cities can do that too. I am dre. ming, but think about it if this works. We can march to washigton again such large numbers that everyone will notice. I really think its time to get together and do something. Bouncing ideas on IV boards is great but lets meet and get to know each other and see if can talk about this problem face to face across the country. Thats what grassroot effort it!. If nothing, we will find new friends in each other. I hope to find that fire in us again and I thank you for reading my post!

Well, no other sites have posted this. Murthy, AILA etc. so its difficult establishing credibility. Also, dont you find it strange that he says EB3 India wont move? that dates being current is not an indication of you getting your GC. The dates have to be current for a long time for you to see the approval.
It is very unfortunate that your lives can be tied to this dates circus. :(
Well, I understand that. But, when the stars line up finally, I don't want to see my application having problems because I used a pre-approved labor.

I think it is best to get your H1B stamped in India and also carry AP with you (if possible) as a back up. Stamping in home country is the BEST and SAFEST. I do not know why so many people get it stamped in Mexico and Canada. Previously, when you could still enter US from Canada with a refused visa,it made sense, but now if they reject your visa you need to fly to India!!!
But, once you enter using your AP, can you switch back to H1B or you have to use your EAD?
