I have been noticing soft LUDs on my EAD and 485. The EAD was issued about 2 months ago and I have had 2 soft luds on that and on the 485 in the last week.
Any ideas on what that means?

My PD is Nov 2004, I got 140 approved. Im not filing 485 now as im unmarried.
Any ideas when can be the date current again(for my PD atleast)?
Are you planning on getting married? Even if you are when you get married, your spouse can file as a derivative and incase your green card is approved. Your spouse will have 180 days in which to apply (i-485).
Talk to your lawyer, it may make sense to file now!

enggr: You have completed the course in 2000 (per course completion certificate), but your degree was awarded in 2002 after you completed a supplemental exam. Since the position requires a candidate who qualifies for EB2, USCIS will deny your 140 petition. IMHO, you will have to start your green card journey from scratch.

opening new threads like this is annoying, I see lots of useless thread around here which discourages me to come to IV that often. He is asking update from CORE like they owe him, he must have paid his attorney and should attorney in such way not here. Whenever core has something to share they do share, no doubts.
If you do not feel like coming to IV forum, that is your problem.
If anything only the IV Admins can speak of what the members can ask or cannot ask.
I think it is clear that this platform is not a paid subscription, so if the IV Admins do not ask for money who are you to speak of money here?
I did not demand anything, it was a request which the Admins and lot other members would understand except for some jacka** like u.

Good information but I feel that it doesn't matter anymore. Even if your visa number is up, your application will probably still sit in a warehouse while the acting director or whomever, keeps using the FBI namecheck backlogs to blind everyone of their inefficiency. :( Frustrated to a point of numbness.

But, my doubt is on the premise that a new H1-B can be obtained based on a previous approved I-140 or Labor Cert. However, if I am changing industries, my job function and description are both changing. In that case, can I use the fact that I had an I-140 from a previous employer in a different industry for a new H1?

Hello,
Sorry to be posting here but how do I start a new post?
Here is my situation:
My husband started GC and our PD is nov 2006. I 140 approved. I am on H1 B. Now, my husband decided to move out of country for studies. So, our application is abandoned right? We have not received any RFEs so can he still apply for AP? Otherwise, how else can he visit USA...H4? Can he still get H4? If yes can it be applied from any US embassy? What all documents are needed? OR should he just try tourist visa now?

As far as forum knowledge,Usually 485 approval updates would be either we sent u a welcome notice or approval notice sent or card production ordered etc.But when document mailed etc,i think it might be a RFE on ur 485 or may be ur AP document(by mistake,updated on ur 485).If u r extreme lucky,it could be ur GC!!!!

Took TST last week, positive (16mm), X-ray negative, civil surgeon marked "Class B, Latent TB Infection" on I-693, and gave me a notes saying that since May 2008, TST>10 will be marked with LTBI, and advised me to go to Health Department.
Same as many of you guys, had taken vaccines when young. Have been in US for 11 years. Pretty sure I don't have TB. What should I do? Does LTBI affect 485 approval? How about AP/EAD? Will USCIS ask for evidence of TB treatment?

It appears that my green card is lost in mail.
My spouse received her 10 days back. Our 485 was approved on same day, so I think mine must be lost.
I will wait for another couple of days for it to appear. Meanwhile I had few questions
1. What is the process to getting a duplicate?
2. If I just get GC stamped on my passport, will I be able to transit from Paris or London airport?
