I have future GC filed from Company X, the priority date is February 2006.
I am currently working for Company Y on H1B. This H1B will expire in April 2009. Company Y is also ready to file my GC and I would like to work with Company Y till by future GC is approved, my question is
If I have already filed for 485, EAD and AP through Company X, scenario will it be advisable to file another labour and I-140 through Company Y now?
What could be the implications?

I would say, if the intent to migrate is for GC, then the best option is come here as Nurse, as a schedule A worker.
They do get the GC very fast.I know one of my frnd who did this.
He came here to study MBA, then converted to Schedule A nursing job by writing few exams and wait for GC , once you get it then you can do what ever it takes to become a complete practicing doctor in US.
I do not know if any other details apart from this.

USCIS has issued revised instructions for USCIS Form I-131, Application for Travel Document. The instructions include changes effective March 5, 2008 that require applicants for re-entry permits and refugee travel documents to provide biometrics (e.g., fingerprints and photographs) at a USCIS Application Support Center (ASC) for background and security checks and to meet requirements for secure travel and entry documents containing biometric identifiers.
Q. May an I-131 applicant for a re-entry permit or refugee travel document complete biometrics outside of the United States?
A. Form I-131 instructions provide guidance for certain persons who are abroad at the time of filing to visit a U.S. Embassy or consulate for fingerprinting, although all applicants are urged to file before leaving the United States. Since certain overseas offices have the discretion to accept and adjudicate applications for refugee travel documents, although it is not mandatory that they do so, an applicant for a refugee travel document may complete biometrics outside of the United States, but is encouraged to wait to travel until his or her biometrics have been collected and the document delivered. As discussed earlier, certain overseas USCIS offices may, in their discretion, adjudicate Form I-131 filed for a refugee travel document (but not re-entry permits), where the applicant has failed to apply while in the U.S. (see 8 C.F.R. � 223.2(b)(2)(ii)). However, applicants for refugee travel documents should not count on the overseas offices necessarily agreeing to adjudicate Form I-131 in all cases, particularly where it is evident that the individual could have applied while in the U.S. and attended his or her biometrics appointment. Both compositions have different things going for them - I think I lean slightly towards the dark one... Though I also feel the first one would have looked better to me if it had been a bit sharper in the centre (and the second, which does seem sharp enough at the top of the bloom, if the DOF had been a little wider) ??

Help!
Took TST last week, positive (16mm), X-ray negative, civil surgeon marked "Class B, Latent TB Infection" on I-693, and gave me a notes saying that since May 2008, TST>10 will be marked with LTBI, and advised me to go to Health Department.
Same as many of you guys, had taken vaccines when young. Have been in US for 11 years. Pretty sure I don't have TB. What should I do? Does LTBI affect 485 approval? How about AP/EAD? Will USCIS ask for evidence of TB treatment?

We just got our medical envelope for me and my wife from the doctor, we both had TST reaction of 10mm and 18mm, chest x-ray came out normal...doctor marked both of us Latent Class TB(LTB1)...i would not worry about this, Latent TB is not infectous and recommended(not required) to undergo treatment. I am going to sit tight, not taking any medication as i heard the medication is a strong antibiotic which has more side effects(esp in women) and does more damage(to liver) than cure. If on medication, you are also required to take a test every 2 months to check if your liver can take medications for following months. Ofcourse, even after taking medication for 9 months, you cannot guarantee future TST test will result -ve due to BCG vaccine history.
If i get an RFE at a later time, i will goto my PCP, start medication(which i will discard) and get a letter saying in am on medication just for paper work sake, i refuse to take the medicine when x-ray is clear.

I have all proofs timesheets and bankstatements and email conversations. But, i am worried because he is threatening me saying he will go to court and sue me for working at the same client. Do i have chance to win the case if i fight back.

I have chosen to participate in the Law makers meeting and received the Talking points ( no confirmed appointments yet)
I know IV has tailored it's agenda after much thought and deliberation. However, it's my personal opinion that some points may need to be tailored based on the party affiliation of the law maker we are speaking to, as one size doesn't fit all.
Pro-labor demands may find resonance with a Congressman of labor background, but may not sit well the pro-employer Republican. ( point 5 of IV agenda). Also Point 7 may not be liked by a Democrat as it places haves before the havenots.
My question is can we tailor it based on whom we are speaking to or keep it standard if some points are disliked by the lawmakers?
I haven't mentioned the actual points as I'm not sure if they can be discussed here. Is it okay to discuss it here? Or is it better discussed offline?

1. All they did in June was to assign visa numbers to already processed 485 applications. These cases were fully processed and were just awaiting visa numbers for approval. They could have just as easily assigned 4 million visa numbers in that time frame. Hence, this June activity has no bearing on actual 485 processing time as this also includes security checks (can run into years) which are not in the hands of of the USCIS.
2. Rajiv Khanna says not all visa numbers for the fiscal year are made available on Oct 01. Visa numbers are released in limited batches for the first 3 quarters. It is only during the last quarter (July-September) that DOS is allowed to go to town and release all pending numbers of that year.

Basically you are correct but if you are a little paranoid about your status you may take gc_chahiye's advice as expressed above. The choice is yours.
Please correct me if I am wrong i.e. I can continue working as I have already applied for my H1 extension and whatever the H1 extension response is based on that if it is approved I can stay on H1 else if extension denied for some reason then at that point I can move to EAD and file a new I-9 Form with my employer and continue my work.

You shouldn't need an experience letter to apply for a H-1B visa, especially when the visa is for a different company. Eligibility for H-1B status doesn't depend on experience, it is education that is important.

I had the same problem. I got the card valid for only 2 months instead of one year. I submitted a new application along with which I submitted all the required documents as if I was filing for a new card. Additionally I submitted the Original card which had the typo and a letter explaining the typo. I did not submit any fee. I got my new card after two months. Please go through the instructions on the EAD application which contains information about replacement card.
